Orthomosaic Generation
Hundreds of aerial frames corrected for lens distortion, terrain relief and perspective, then blended into a single georeferenced image you can measure directly.
- Resolution
- 0.8-5 cm/px
- Formats
- GeoTIFF, ECW, MBTiles, KML
- Tiling
- XYZ / WMTS ready
- Turnaround
- 24-72 hours
What it is
One seamless, distortion-free, measurable image of your entire site
A raw aerial photograph is not a map. Objects lean away from the image centre, terrain relief displaces features, and the lens bends straight lines. An orthomosaic removes all three effects so that scale is constant everywhere in the image and any distance you measure is a true distance.
We generate orthomosaics at the resolution your use case justifies - 5 cm for progress overviews and land parcels, sub-centimetre for crack mapping and pavement condition. Colour balancing and seamline optimisation are done properly, so you get an image without visible tile joins or exposure banding.
Every orthomosaic ships in formats your team can actually open: GeoTIFF for GIS, compressed ECW for large areas, pre-rendered tiles for the web, and a KML overlay for Google Earth so non-technical stakeholders can explore the site without any software.
What you receive
- Full-resolution georeferenced GeoTIFF with embedded CRS
- Compressed ECW / JPEG2000 for very large areas
- Pre-rendered XYZ tile pyramid for web mapping
- KML/KMZ overlay for Google Earth
- True-ortho variant with building lean removed (on request)
- World file and metadata sidecar (ISO 19115)

Standalone orthomosaic from existing or newly captured imagery at 3 cm GSD.
How we deliver it
Our orthomosaics workflow
Each step exists because skipping it shows up later as an error somebody else has to find.
Consistent capture
Fixed exposure and white balance across the mission so the mosaic does not band between flight lines.
Geometric correction
Every frame is rectified against the DSM, which removes terrain relief displacement rather than averaging it away.
Seamline optimisation
Seams are routed around buildings and moving objects rather than through them, eliminating ghosting and sliced vehicles.
Radiometric balancing
Global colour matching across the block so shadows and exposure shifts between passes disappear.
Export and tiling
Delivery in every format your stakeholders need, with a quick-look PDF for review.
Where it is used
Typical applications
- Monthly site progress documentation for owners and lenders
- Base map for GIS, planning and permit applications
- Land parcel and encroachment mapping
- Crop scouting and field zone delineation
- Marketing and stakeholder visuals for large developments
Industries served
Sectors that commission this
For progress tracking and site overviews, 3-5 cm is plenty. For pavement distress, crack mapping or counting individual plants, ask for 1 cm or finer - it costs more flight time because the drone must fly lower.
