Privacy Policy

What we collect when you contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: 24 August 2026

01Who we are

Xorian Geospatial Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us") operates this website and provides drone survey and mapping services. Our registered office is at Unit 402, Orion Tech Park, G.S. Road, Christian Basti, Guwahati 781005, Assam, India.

For any question about this policy or about data we hold, contact us at hello@xorian.example or on +91 97070 22699.

02What we collect

We only collect information you actively give us, plus a minimal amount of technical data needed to keep the site working and secure. We do not buy contact lists and we do not build profiles on visitors.

  • Contact and enquiry details: your name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Project information: site location, survey area, service required, timeline and any files you attach to a quote request.
  • Technical data: IP address (truncated), browser type and pages visited, used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate analytics.
  • Analytics: anonymised usage statistics through Google Analytics, if you have not opted out at the browser level.

03Why we collect it

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation - the primary and usually the only reason.
  • To deliver services you engage us for, and to maintain a record of the engagement.
  • To protect the site from spam and abuse, using rate limiting and CAPTCHA.
  • To understand in aggregate which pages are useful, so we can improve them.

04Files you upload

Files attached to a quote request - drawings, boundary files, site photographs, specifications - are treated as confidential client material from the moment they reach us.

They are stored in access-controlled cloud storage, are never publicly readable, and are accessed only by the members of our team working on your enquiry. We do not use client files to train any model, publish them, or share them with third parties without your written consent.

05How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become projects: retained for 24 months, then deleted.
  • Project records and deliverables: retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years, in line with contractual and tax record-keeping obligations.
  • Uploaded files from unsuccessful enquiries: deleted after 12 months unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
  • Technical logs: retained for 90 days.

06Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our operations. Each processes data only on our instructions:

  • Google Firebase (Google LLC) - website hosting, database and file storage.
  • Our email service provider - transactional email for enquiry notifications and replies.
  • Google Analytics - anonymised website usage statistics.
  • Google reCAPTCHA - spam and abuse prevention on our forms.

07Your rights

You can ask us to show you what personal data we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, delete it where we have no ongoing legal or contractual reason to keep it, or stop processing it for a particular purpose.

Send any such request to hello@xorian.example. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the relevant data protection authority.

08Cookies

This site uses a small number of cookies and equivalent browser storage: one to remember your light or dark theme preference, and analytics cookies if analytics is enabled. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site works normally without them, except that it will not remember your theme preference.

09Security

All traffic is served over HTTPS. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Administrative access requires authenticated accounts with role-based permissions, and file storage denies public access by default.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify affected clients without undue delay and describe what happened and what we are doing about it.

10Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change affects how we handle data you have already given us, contact you directly.

Questions about any of this?

Data handling, confidentiality and insurance questions are routine at the pre-qualification stage. Ask and we will answer in writing.
