Agricultural Surveys
NDVI and multispectral analysis that shows crop vigour, stress and gaps weeks before they are visible from the ground, plus plant counts and prescription maps for variable-rate application.
- Spectral bands
- R, G, RE, NIR + RGB
- Indices
- NDVI, NDRE, GNDVI, SAVI
- Daily coverage
- Up to 250 ha
- Resolution
- 3-8 cm/px
What it is
Multispectral crop intelligence at field and estate scale
A multispectral sensor sees light your eye cannot. Healthy vegetation reflects near-infrared strongly; stressed vegetation does not. The difference shows up in an NDVI map days to weeks before the stress is visible walking the field, which is what turns a survey into an intervention.
We calibrate every flight against a reflectance panel and record incident light, so index values are comparable between flights and between fields. Without that calibration NDVI is a pretty picture rather than a measurement, and season-long comparison is meaningless.
Outputs are built for action: zone maps that divide the field by vigour class, prescription files that load straight into variable-rate spreaders and sprayers, plant population counts for gap and replant decisions, and stand-level analytics for orchards and plantations.
What you receive
- Calibrated NDVI, NDRE and GNDVI index maps
- Crop vigour zone map with area per class
- Variable-rate prescription file (shapefile / ISOXML)
- Plant population count and gap map
- Irrigation performance and waterlogging map
- Season comparison and trend report
Indicative from
₹450per hectare
Multispectral capture with calibrated index maps, minimum 40 hectares per mobilisation.
How we deliver it
Our agricultural surveys workflow
Each step exists because skipping it shows up later as an error somebody else has to find.
Growth-stage planning
Flights are timed to the crop stage where the data actually changes a decision rather than to a convenient calendar date.
Calibrated capture
Reflectance panel imaged before and after each flight, with an upwelling light sensor logging incident radiation throughout.
Index computation
Per-band reflectance calibration, then index calculation with soil and shadow masking.
Zoning and prescription
Statistical zoning into management classes, converted to machine-ready prescription files.
Agronomic readout
A plain-language summary of what the maps show and what we would look at on the ground.
Where it is used
Typical applications
- In-season crop health and stress monitoring
- Variable-rate fertiliser and pesticide prescriptions
- Plant population, gap and replant assessment
- Irrigation uniformity and waterlogging detection
- Tea, rubber and orchard estate inventory
- Crop insurance loss assessment and yield forecasting
Industries served
Sectors that commission this
Not always. NDVI saturates on dense canopy, which is exactly when you most want detail. NDRE uses the red-edge band and keeps discriminating in mature crops, so we usually deliver both and tell you which one to trust for your stage.
