How do I get a quote?

Use the quote request form and tell us the site location, approximate area and what you need to do with the data. We usually respond within one working day, and for anything non-standard we will call to understand the requirement before pricing it.

What information do you need from me?

At minimum: site location, approximate area or corridor length, the deliverables you need and your timeline. A boundary file (KML, SHP or even a marked-up Google Earth image) makes the quote considerably more accurate. If you have a project specification or accuracy requirement, send that too.

Question 3

How quickly can you mobilise?

Accepted Answer

For green-zone sites within Assam and the North-East, typically 3-5 working days from confirmation. Elsewhere in India, 7-10 days. Sites needing red or yellow zone airspace clearance add 7-14 days for the permission itself.

Question 4

Is there a minimum project size?

There is a minimum mobilisation charge rather than a minimum area, because getting a crew and equipment to site costs the same whether you need 5 hectares or 50. For very small sites we will tell you honestly if a conventional survey would be cheaper.

Do you work outside Assam and the North-East?

Yes. We have delivered projects in fourteen states. Travel and mobilisation are quoted separately and are more economical for larger scopes or multi-site programmes.

How accurate is the data really?

With RTK/PPK positioning and properly observed ground control, we consistently achieve 2-3 cm horizontal and 3-5 cm vertical on open terrain. Every deliverable includes check point residuals measured against points that were deliberately withheld from the processing, so the accuracy statement is a measurement rather than a marketing claim.

What formats do you deliver in?

Orthomosaics as GeoTIFF, ECW and web tiles. Point clouds as LAS/LAZ and E57. Surfaces as LandXML, DWG, DXF and raster grids. Meshes as OBJ, FBX and glTF. Vectors as DWG and SHP. If your team needs something else, ask - we will usually match it.

Will the data work in our existing software?

Yes, and we test the import ourselves before delivery rather than leaving you to discover a problem. We regularly deliver into Civil 3D, ArcGIS, QGIS, Bentley, Revit and most asset management systems.

Question 9

What coordinate system will the data be in?

Accepted Answer

Whichever your project uses. WGS84/UTM, a local project grid tied to survey control, or a specified national datum. We document the CRS, geoid model and transformation applied in the metadata that ships with the deliverable.

How long does processing take?

Standard scopes are 3-5 working days from the last flight. Orthomosaic-only jobs are typically 24-72 hours. Monitoring cycles are issued within 48 hours. Large LiDAR corridors and heavily manual classification work take longer and we quote the timeline explicitly.

Can you re-fly if the data is not right?

If coverage or quality falls short of the agreed specification because of something within our control, we re-fly at our cost. That is why we verify coverage on site before demobilising.

Question 12

Are you licensed to fly commercially in India?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our pilots hold DGCA Remote Pilot Certificates issued through an approved RPTO, our aircraft are type-certified under CAR Section 3 Series X and registered with UINs on the Digital Sky portal, and every flight is filed for permission before it takes place.

Who arranges permissions?

We do, as part of the engagement. That includes the Digital Sky filing and airspace zone check. Where a site sits in a yellow or red zone we prepare and submit the clearance application on your behalf; the approval timeline is outside our control and we build it into the schedule honestly.

Are you insured?

Yes - third-party aviation liability cover of ₹10 crore per occurrence. We can issue a certificate naming your project or organisation where your contract requires it.

Can you fly over an active site?

Accepted Answer

Yes, under a site-specific risk assessment and method statement. We coordinate with your safety officer, brief the crew, establish ground exclusion zones under the flight path, use a spotter and avoid overflight of anyone not involved in the operation.

What weather stops a flight?

Sustained wind above the aircraft limit, rain, poor visibility, and thunderstorm activity in the area. These limits are not negotiable regardless of schedule pressure. We build weather contingency days into every mobilisation plan.

Question 17

What about privacy and neighbouring properties?

Accepted Answer

Flight paths are planned to remain within the project boundary wherever possible. Where a turn or transit crosses adjoining land we minimise it, and we do not capture or retain imagery of neighbouring property beyond what the survey extent requires.

How is pricing calculated?

Four things drive it: the area or corridor length, the accuracy and resolution you need, the deliverable set, and mobilisation. Accuracy is the biggest lever - a 1 cm GSD requirement means flying much lower and therefore many more flight lines than a 4 cm requirement over the same area.

Why is there no fixed price list?

Because the same hectare can cost very different amounts depending on terrain, canopy, airspace, control requirements and what you need out the other end. We publish indicative starting prices so you can budget, then quote the real number against your actual scope.

Do you offer retainers for repeat work?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and monitoring programmes are meaningfully cheaper per cycle than one-off visits because the control network, flight plan and processing template are established once and reused. Minimum three cycles.

What are the payment terms?

Standard terms are 40% on confirmation to cover mobilisation and 60% on delivery. Retainers are billed monthly in arrears. Government and PSU clients are accommodated on departmental terms.

Who owns the data?

You do. On full payment, all deliverables and the underlying raw capture are yours. We retain a copy for the support period and for repeat-capture comparison unless you ask us in writing not to.

Is support included after delivery?

Accepted Answer

Yes - 30 days of support on every dataset as standard, covering queries on the data, format conversions and help getting it into your systems. Extended support is available on request.

Photogrammetry or LiDAR - which do I need?

Accepted Answer

If your site is open ground, photogrammetry gives you colour, detail and lower cost. If there is vegetation between the sensor and the ground you care about, you need LiDAR, because photogrammetry can only model what the camera can see. Corridors, forests and plantations are almost always LiDAR jobs.

What is GSD and what should I ask for?

Ground Sampling Distance is how much ground one pixel covers. For progress documentation and site overviews, 3-5 cm is ample. For crack detection, pavement condition or counting individual plants, ask for 1 cm or better - and expect it to cost more, because the aircraft has to fly much lower.

Do you need ground control points?

For any deliverable with an accuracy requirement, yes. RTK alone gives excellent relative accuracy but ground control is what ties the survey to your project datum and, just as importantly, what lets us prove the accuracy independently.

Can you process imagery we already captured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Send the full-resolution originals with EXIF intact, flight logs if you have them, and any control coordinates. We will assess the capture geometry first and tell you plainly if it cannot support the accuracy you are after.

How large are the files?

Larger than people expect. A 100-hectare survey at 3 cm typically produces 8-25 GB across all deliverables. We deliver through a secure download link and can also ship on physical media or push directly into your cloud storage.

Can the data feed into BIM or a digital twin?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We deliver geometry in formats that import into Revit and common BIM environments, and for ongoing programmes we can push deliverables into your platform via API or scheduled upload rather than sending links.
